As long as I can remember I have held an interest in the human brain and the mind- body connection. This curiosity led me to dive deep into the intersection of PTSD, CPTSD, and BPD in my graduate work and internships. What I had learned serendipitously in my personal experience has been transformed into clinical understanding of the neurobiology of traumatic stress disorders, particularly the need for holistic interventions that target the wellness of mind, body, and spirit collectively. Through helping my clients to understand the basic neurobiological underpinnings of their symptoms, we begin to reduce shame and develop secure attachment within the therapeutic relationship. We will continue to use a collaborative, integrative approach and work together to specifically address how stress and trauma presents for you. My preferred approach offers neuroscience based interventions that focus on regulation of the areas of the brain most impacted by cumulative/relational trauma, including breath work, Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and EMDR
