Jamie E. Hazel

LCMHC Candidate

I utilize a strength-based approach with mindfulness, SFT and CBT techniques. I am passionate about cultivating an honest, communicative and trustworthy client-counselor relationship to help work through struggles such as anxiety, trauma, disordered eating, body dysmorphic disorder and depression. I believe that each person has personal values and strengths that aid in working through the challenges that bring them to therapy.

I have experience working with adults and minors 7+ years old both in integrated care settings and middle and high school sites. I enjoy working with clients of all ages and identifying core values throughout counseling services, which I have found helpful for individuals to build a deeper understanding of themselves in addition to their struggles.
