Taylor Foster

LCMHC Candidate

Taylor is a pre-licensed therapist with experience working with adolescents, adults and couples. He offers a safe, compassionate environment to help clients identify and achieve their short term and long-term goals in therapy. His priority in their work together is to create a safe, therapeutic environment to explore strengths, barriers, and the client’s potential. Taylor utilizes a strengths-based and person-centered approach to therapy. He assists individuals to enhance their self-esteem and self-worth by utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, internal family systems, and exposure therapy. A common therapeutic tool Taylor utilizes is guiding individuals to identify, restructure, and replace unhelpful thought patterns with healthy empowering ones to develop a greater sense of confidence in one’s own abilities, and to help cope with difficult situations.
